V. The applicant shall designate the required number of parking stalls as handicapped <br /> parking spaces, including signage to meet City of San Leandro Standards Drawing No <br /> 602 for Accessible Parking. <br /> VI. FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Prior to issuance of a business license for this use, a building permit shall be obtained from <br /> the City of San Leandro Building and Safety Services Division. Said building permit shall <br /> include the following provisions: <br /> 1. The project shall comply with the applicable building and fire codes as adopted by <br /> the City of San Leandro. <br /> 2. A Fire Department permit is required for modifications to the sprinkler system prior <br /> to the work being done. <br /> 3. Future outdoor seating area will conform to the currently adopted editions of the <br /> California Fire Code and California Building Codes at time of building plan <br /> submittal. (This is shown as future on the plans.) <br /> 4. The current occupant load is 118. If there are any changes to the floor plan in the <br /> A-2 and the occupant load is 300 or more, a fire alarm system will be required. <br /> 5. Burners for the used in the brewing process will be required to be UL listed. <br /> VII. BUILDING AND SAFETY DIVISION REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Prior to issuance of a business license for this use, a building permit shall be obtained from <br /> the City of San Leandro Building and Safety Services Division. Said building permit shall <br /> include the following provisions: <br /> 1. Automatic Sprinkler System is required. See CBC Sec. 903.2.1.2. <br /> 2. All Exit doors and door that lead to exit door must swing in the direction of egress <br /> travel exiting. See CBC Sec. 1008-1.2 <br /> 4. Panic Hardware is required for exiting doors as per CBC Sec. 1008.1.10. <br /> 5. Both women's and men's bathrooms must be accessible. <br /> 6. Structural evaluation report for seismic safety for the proposed space based on <br /> change of occupancy to "A" as Assembly is required <br /> VIII.
