The elimination of <br /> exposure to stormwater by relocating indoors, covering or utilizing other engineered <br /> controls is highly recommended. If an NOI filing is required it must be submitted prior <br /> to finalizing of the building permit or issuance of certificate of occupancy. A copy of <br /> the NOI shall be provided to the City's' Environmental Services office. <br /> H. The generation or discharge of wastewaters other than domestic sewerage may require <br /> a Pretreatment Permit applicability analysis for discharge to the sanitary sewer. A <br /> completed Pretreatment Permit Application may need to be submitted to the City's <br /> Environmental Services Section prior to final approval of the building permit or <br /> commencing discharge, whichever occurs first. <br /> I. Pretreatment of non-domestic wastewaters may be required to comply with discharge <br /> limitations specified in Title 3, Chapter 14 San Leandro Municipal Code titled Uniform <br /> Wastewater Discharge Regulations. All non-domestic discharges, whether permitted or <br /> non-permitted, are required to meet the general discharge prohibitions specified in the <br /> Ordinance. <br /> J. Accessible and secure monitoring facilities shall be constructed at an approved location <br /> for the final combined sanitary sewer outfall to allow for the City to periodically install <br /> sampling equipment and collect wastewater samples to determine compliance with the <br /> facility's discharge. <br /> IX. SAN LEANDRO POLICE DEPARTMENT CONDITIONS <br /> A. Applicant shall register and participate in the "Crime-free Business Program", or its <br /> equivalent, with the San Leandro Police Department. <br /> B. Applicant and/or property owner shall be responsible for the maintenance of parking lot <br /> lighting to levels that create a safe environment, to the satisfaction of the Chief <br /> Building Official, City Engineer and the San Leandro Police Chief. Any broken or <br /> dimmed lighting shall be replaced immediately. <br /> X. MAINTENANCE <br /> A. Any graffiti on the property occupied by the applicant shall be removed. <br /> B. All litter associated with the business located within 1,000 feet of the property boundaries <br /> shall be picked up daily. Identifiable containers and napkins shall be used for all carryout <br /> food, and all litter resulting shall be promptly removed. <br /> C. All landscaping shall be maintained in a healthy, growing condition at all times. <br /> D. The signs on the property shall be well maintained at all times. Any damage to the signs <br /> shall be promptly repaired or replaced. <br /> E.
