City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: September 15, 2014 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:14-353 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Debbie Pollart <br />Public Works Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Amending Title 6, Chapter 4 of the San Leandro Administrative <br />Code Relating to Fees and Charges for Electric Vehicle Charging at the <br />Downtown Parking Garage and the Water Pollution Control Plant (sets hourly <br />charging fees and parking fines) <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That following notice as may be required by law, Title 6, Chapter 4, Section 6.4.100 of the <br />San Leandro Administrative Code, Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) charging fees <br />are hereby added Public Works Parking Meter Rates as follows: <br />$1.00 per hour for first (4) hours <br />$5.00 per hour for fifth and successive hours during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday, except for holidays <br />$1.00 per hour for fifth and successive hours on weekends and holidays and during the <br />hours of 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday <br />That the Electric Vehicle Charging Station parking fine is added under Police Department <br />Parking Citation Fines as follows: <br />EVCS Parking Stall $45.00 SLMC 6-2-405 <br />That the provisions of this Section shall take effect upon the effective date of the <br />Ordinance that authorizes the charging of the aforementioned fees. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 9/9/2014
