IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-101 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEASURE Z CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE'S <br />ANNUAL REPORT ON MEASURE Z SALES TAX FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013-14 <br />WHEREAS, on November 2, 2010, the Measure Z quarter -cent sales tax ordinance was <br />approved by more than 60% of the voters; and <br />WHEREAS, the Measure Z ordinance requires that a Citizens Oversight Committee be <br />created; and <br />WHEREAS, the Measure Z ordinance requires an annual report, prepared by the Citizens <br />Oversight Committee, be presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Measure Z Citizens Oversight Committee's annual report on Measure Z <br />Sales Tax, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said Annual Report on Measure Z Sales Tax for Fiscal Year 2013-14 is hereby <br />approved. <br />Introduced by Reed and passed and adopted this 15th day of September, 2014, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
