City Council Minutes November 17,2014 <br /> Prola,that this urgency ordinance be passed to print and adopted.The motion <br /> carried by the following vote. <br /> Aye: 6- Cassidy, Cutter, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza <br /> Enactment No: Ordinance 2014-022 <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Paul Carney commented that he believes the temporary BART parking plan is <br /> inadequate, and discourages use of public transit. Mr. Carney urged the City to <br /> revisit the plan. <br /> Giovanna Giuliani commented on the temporary BART parking plan, suggesting <br /> some ideas to increase the available parking. Ms. Giuliani commented on the impact <br /> to families of the BART parking situation. <br /> 6. CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Gregory arrived at 7:34 p.m., during this item. <br /> City Manager Chris Zapata addressed the concerns raised by the speakers regarding <br /> the BART parking situation, noting that an update will be given at the December 1, <br /> 2014 City Council meeting. City Manager Zapata commented on the need to <br /> reactivate the City Council Finance and Facilities Committees to begin to address the <br /> increased responsibilities assumed by the City with the passage of Measures BB and <br /> HH. City Manager Zapata reported that the City will be able to borrow a Lenco <br /> BearCat vehicle for temporary public display in the near future. <br /> 7. AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> There was no amendment to Consent Calendar. <br /> 8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Approval of the Consent Calendar <br /> A motion was made by Councilmember Prola,seconded by Vice Mayor Lee,to <br /> approve the Consent Calendar.The motion carried by the following vote. <br /> Aye: 7- Cassidy, Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza <br /> 8.A. 14-488 Minutes of the Meeting of November 3, 2014 <br /> Approved as submitted on the Consent Calendar. <br /> 8.B. 14-459 ORDINANCE Repealing and Reenacting Title 3 (Health and Safety), <br /> Chapter 14 of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Uniform <br /> Wastewater Discharge Regulations (updates definitions and <br /> pretreatment standards, and expands grease interceptor <br /> requirements) <br /> Adopted on the Consent Calendar. <br /> City of San Leandro Page 3 <br />
