IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2014-137 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXPEND FUNDS FOR BART PARKING MITIGATION IMPROVEMENTS AND TO <br /> APPROPRIATE $50,000 FROM GENERAL FUND RESERVES AND <br /> TRANSFER THE FUNDS TO THE CITY MANAGER'S CONTINGENCY FUND <br /> WHEREAS, construction of The Cornerstone and San Leandro Tech Campus, while <br /> beneficial for the City in the long term, will have an approximately 18-month impact on BART <br /> parking; and <br /> WHEREAS, efforts are underway to educate BART patrons on transportation and <br /> parking alternatives during the temporary closure of the BART surface parking lot on the east <br /> side of San Leandro Boulevard. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The recitals above are hereby true and correct and incorporated herein. <br /> 2. The City Council appropriates $50,000 from General Fund Economic Uncertainty <br /> Reserve for these parking mitigation improvements and transfers such funds to the City <br /> Manager's Contingency Fund(Account#010-14-015). <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 15th day of December, <br /> 2014, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: (0) <br /> ATTEST: d4ei <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
