City of San Leandro <br /> Meeting Date: January 5, 2015 <br /> A1� Resolution - Council <br /> File Number: 14-566 Agenda Section: CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Agenda Number: 8.G. <br /> TO: City Council <br /> FROM: Chris Zapata <br /> City Manager <br /> BY: City Council <br /> FINANCE REVIEW: Not Applicable <br /> TITLE: RESOLUTION Removing Carmen Fewless as District 6 Member to the <br /> Human Services Commission <br /> WHEREAS, Carmen Fewless was appointed as the District 6 Member to the Human <br /> Services Commission on June 6, 2005; reappointed on February 17, 2009; and reappointed <br /> again on February 14, 2013, by Resolution No. 2013-011, with a term expiring on December <br /> 31, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, San Leandro Municipal Code section 1-3-105 gives the Council the <br /> authority to remove a Board or Commission member without cause, notice, or hearing. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That Carmen Fewless is hereby removed from the Human Services Commission, <br /> effective immediately; and <br /> That this Council thanks Ms. Fewless for her service on the Human Services <br /> Commission, and extends its gratitude for her civic contributions. <br /> City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 1212212014 <br />
