VEGETATED SWALE AND FLOW THROUGH PLANTER MAINTENANCE PLAN FOR <br /> ALCO IRON AND METAL <br /> 2140 DAVIS ST.,SAN LEANDRO, CA 94577 <br /> The property contains one additional vegetated swales and one flow through planter <br /> located as described below and as shown on the attached site plan. <br /> ■ Vegetated Swale No.6 (Swales 1-5 are on other side of property under a different 0 <br /> &M Agreement) is located at the southeast corner Metal Sales Warehouse by Truck <br /> Dock flowing east to west,captures 0.239 acres of catchment area. <br /> ■ Flow Through Planter 7 is located at the northwest corner outside metals sales <br /> building, captures 0.423 acres of catchment area. <br /> I. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES <br /> The maintenance objectives for the vegetated swales include keeping up the pollutant <br /> removal efficiency of the channel by maintaining a dense,healthy vegetated cover. Routine <br /> maintenance activities,and the frequency at which they will be conducted,are shown in <br /> Table 1. <br /> Table 1.
