City Council Draft Minutes January 5, 2015 <br />Use of City -owned fiber optic strands <br />A motion was made by Mayor Cutter, seconded by Vice Mayor Lee, that this <br />resolution be adopted. The motion carried by the following vote. <br />Aye: 7 - Cox, Cutter, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas <br />Enactment No: Reso 2015-005 <br />10. ACTION ITEMS <br />10.A. 14-553 MOTION Designating Vice Mayor to Serve for a Period of One Year <br />Pursuant to City Charter Section 310 <br />Comments were made by the following individual: Diana Souza. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lopez, seconded by Councilmember <br />Cox, to nominate Councilmember Prola as Vice Mayor. A substitute motion <br />was made by Vice Mayor Lee to nominate Councilmember Reed as Vice Mayor. <br />The substitute motion died for lack of a second. The original motion carried by <br />the following vote. <br />Aye: 6 - Cox, Cutter, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas <br />Nay: 1 - Lee <br />Enactment No: Min Order 2015-002 <br />11. REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN <br />No reportable action was taken in closed session. <br />12.
