The manager will determine the cause of any complaints <br />(e.g., starting too early, bad muffler, etc.) and coordinate with the <br />construction team to implement effective measures (considered <br />technically and economically feasible) warranted to correct the <br />problem. The telephone number of the coordinator shall be <br />posted at the construction site and provided to neighbors in a <br />notification letter. The manager shall notify the City's Chief <br />Building Official of all complaints within 24 hours. The manager <br />will be trained to use a sound level meter and should be available <br />during all construction hours to respond to complaints; and <br />■ A preconstruction meeting shall be held with the Chief Building <br />Official and the general contractor/on-site project manager to <br />confirm that noise measures and practices (including construction <br />hours, neighborhood notification, posted signs, etc.) are fully <br />operational. <br />The above mitigation measures shall be identified in construction <br />contracts and acknowledged by the contractor. <br />NOISE -5. The Project would not result in exposure of <br />LTS N/A N/A <br />people residing or working in the vicinity of the Project <br />site to excessive aircraft noise levels, for a project located <br />within an airport land use plan, or where such a plan has <br />not been adopted, within 2 miles of a public airport or <br />public use airport. <br />NOISE -6. The Project would not result in exposure of <br />No Impact N/A N/A <br />people residing or working in the Project site to excessive <br />noise levels, for a project within the vicinity of a private <br />airstrip. <br />NOISE -7. This Project, in combination with past, present, <br />LTS N/A N/A <br />and reasonably foreseeable projects, would result in less <br />than significant impacts with respect to noise. <br />LTS = Less Than Significant S = Significant SU = Significant Unavoidable Impact <br />1-36 DECEMBER 2014 <br />
