NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the above recitals are true and correct <br /> and made a part of this resolution. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby approves the 2015-2023 <br /> Housing Element update attached as Exhibit A, based on the following findings: <br /> A. The Housing Element update has been prepared in accordance with State law and <br /> the State Department of Housing and Community Development guidelines. <br /> B. Prior to approving the Housing Element update,the City Council considered the <br /> Negative Declaration and comment letter submitted during the public review period. <br /> C. Adoption of the Housing Element update is in the public interest. <br /> D.
