NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the above recitals are true and correct <br /> and made a part of this resolution. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby approves the 2015-2023 <br /> Housing Element update attached as Exhibit A, based on the following findings: <br /> A. The Housing Element update has been prepared in accordance with State law and <br /> the State Department of Housing and Community Development guidelines. <br /> B. Prior to approving the Housing Element update,the City Council considered the <br /> Negative Declaration and comment letter submitted during the public review period. <br /> C. Adoption of the Housing Element update is in the public interest. <br /> D. The General Plan as amended by the Housing Element update remains internally <br /> consistent. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 20th day of January, <br /> 2015,by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Reed, Thomas (4) <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Lopez, Prola (2) <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Cutter (1) <br /> ATTEST: Ati <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br /> RESOLUTION NO.2015-007 3 <br />
