<br />On October 18, 2012, at 11:04 a.m., Bradford Ramon
<br />began shooting in the Las Dominicanas M&M Hair Salon in Casselberry, Florida. The
<br />shooter had been served earlier that month with a domestic violence court order involving
<br />his ex-girlfriend, who managed the salon. Three people were killed; his ex-girlfriend was
<br />wounded. The shooter committed suicide at another location.
<br />On October 21, 2012, at 11:09 a.m., Radcliffe Franklin Haughton, 45, armed with a handgur
<br />began shooting in the Azana Day Salon in Brookfield, Wisconsin, his estranged wife's place
<br />of employment. Three were killed, including his estranged wife; four were wounded. The
<br />shooter committed suicide before police arrived.
<br />On November 6, 2012, at 8:15 a.m., Lawrence Jones, 42, armed with a handgun, began
<br />shooting at his co-workers in the Valley Protein processing plant in Fresno, California. The
<br />shooting took place midway through his shift. Two people were killed; two were wounded.
<br />The shooter committed suicide before police arrived.
<br />On December 11, 2012, at 3:25 p.m., Jacob Tyler Roberts, 22, armed with a rifle, began
<br />shooting at people waiting to see Santa Claus in the Clackamas Town Center Mall in Happy
<br />Valley, Oregon. Two people were killed; one was wounded. The shooter committed suicide
<br />before police arrived.
<br />at 9:30 a.m., Adam Lanza, 20, armed with two
<br />shot through the secured front door to enter Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown,
<br />Connecticut. He killed 20 students and six adults, and wounded two adults inside the school.
<br />Prior to the shooting, the shooter killed his mother at their home. In total, 27 people were
<br />killed; two were wounded. The shooter committed suicide after police arrived.
<br />St. Vincent's, Hospital
<br />On December 15, 2012, at 4:00 a.m., Jason Heath Letts, 38, armed with a handgun, began
<br />shooting in St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. No one was killed; three were
<br />wounded, including one police officer. The shooter was killed by police.
<br />On December 21, 2012, at 8:59 a.m., Jeffrey Lee Michael, 44, armed with two handguns,
<br />began shooting at citizens as he drove around Frankstown Township, Pennsylvania. Three
<br />people were killed; three police officers were wounded. The shooter was killed by police.
<br />On January 10, 2013, at 8:59 a.m., Bryan Oliver, 16, armed with a shotgun, allegedly began
<br />shooting in a science class at Taft Union High School in Taft, California. No one was killed;
<br />two people were wounded. An administrator persuaded the shooter to put the gun down
<br />before police arrived and took him into custody.
