15 <br />12.3 All jurisdictional disputes shall be resolved without the occurrence of any strike, work <br />stoppage, or slow-down of any nature, and the Contractor/Employer(s)’ assignment shall be <br />adhered to until the dispute is resolved. Individuals violating this Section shall be subject to <br />immediate discharge. <br />12.4 Each Contractor/Employer(s) shall conduct a Pre-Job Conference with the Council prior <br />to commencing Covered Work. Pre-job conferences for different Contractor(s) may be held <br />together. <br />ARTICLE 13 <br />APPRENTICES <br />13.1 Recognizing the need to maintain continuing support of programs designed to develop <br />adequate numbers of competent workers in the construction industry, the Contractor(s), <br />notwithstanding Article 8 of this Agreement, shall endeavor to employ and utilize apprentices in <br />the respective crafts to perform such work as is within their capabilities and which is customarily <br />performed by the craft in whichtheyareindentured. <br />13.2 Contractors shall at all times comply with the applicable provisions of the CaliforniaLabor <br />Code, the payment of prevailing wages, the registration of contractors and subcontractors, and <br />the hiring of apprentices, in addition to the requirements of Article 8. <br />ARTICLE 14 <br />MANAGEMENT RIGHTS <br />14.1 The Contractor shall retain full and exclusive authority for the management of its operations, <br />including the right to direct its work force in its sole discretion except as otherwise limited by the <br />terms of this agreement and/or Schedule A Agreements. No roles, customs or practices shall <br />be permitted or observed that limit or restrict production, or limit or restrict the working <br />efforts of construction persons except that the lawful provisions of the Schedule A Agreements <br />shall be recognized. <br />ARTICLE 15 <br />WAGES/BENEFITS <br />15.1 Wages. All construction persons covered by this Agreement shall be classified and <br />paid in compliance with and according to California prevailing wage laws.
