IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015-087 <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING ED SHAPIRO AS SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL <br /> DISTRICT MEMBER TO RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION FOR <br /> TERM ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2018 <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 1-3-1105 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, one <br /> member of the Recreation and Parks Commission shall reside within the boundaries of the San <br /> Leandro Unified School District (SLUSD); and <br /> WHEREAS,the governing board of the SLUSD shall submit the name of a nominee for <br /> appointment; and <br /> WHEREAS,the SLUSD Board of Trustees nominated Ed Shapiro. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That Ed Shapiro is hereby appointed as SLUSD member to the Recreation and Parks <br /> Commission,his term to expire December 31, 2018. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Lee and passed and adopted this 4th day of May, 2015, by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
