May 4, 2015City Council Draft Minutes <br />Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 2.8% <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lee, seconded by Councilmember Cox, <br />that this ordinance be passed to print. The motion carried by the following <br />vote. <br />Aye:Cox, Cutter, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas7 - <br />Enactment No: Ordinance 2015-005 <br />15-248 ORDINANCE Amending Section 2-13-140 of the San Leandro <br />Municipal Code to Increase the Emergency Medical Services Tax <br />(EMS Tax) by the Annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 2.8% <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Cox, seconded by Councilmember Lee, <br />that this ordinance be passed to print. The motion carried by the following <br />vote. <br />Aye:Cox, Cutter, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas7 - <br />Enactment No: Ordinance 2015-006 <br />15-249 ORDINANCE Amending Section 2-18-210 of the San Leandro <br />Municipal Code to Increase the Emergency Communication System <br />Access Tax (911 Tax) by the Annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) of <br />2.8% <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lopez, seconded by Councilmember <br />Cox, that this ordinance be passed to print. The motion carried by the <br />following vote. <br />Aye:Cox, Cutter, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas7 - <br />Enactment No: Ordinance 2015-007 <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS5. <br />James Aguilar suggested that the City educate San Leandro’s citizens and youth on <br />the City’s armored vehicle. He also urged the City Council to discuss incorporation of <br />San Lorenzo. <br />Diana Souza spoke in support of the teen pop-up center. She also urged the City to <br />consider posting notices to inform the LINKS riders that the shuttles are free to ride <br />but not free to provide.
