IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015-120 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br /> AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2015-2016 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br /> CDBG SUB-RECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO THE CHILD ABUSE <br /> LISTENING, INTERVIEWING, AND COORDINATION CENTER(CALICO)FOR$19,400; <br /> DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER(DAVIS STREET) FOR$34,500; SERVICE <br /> OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. (SOS/MEALS ON WHEELS) FOR$25,700; <br /> SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES (SPECTRUM) FOR$14,645; AND EDEN COUNCIL <br /> FOR HOPE AND OPPORTUNITY HOUSING(ECHO HOUSING) FOR$10,000 <br /> WHEREAS, CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and <br /> Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center(CALICO); Davis Street Family <br /> Resource Center(Davis Street); Service Opportunities for Seniors, Inc. (SOS/Meals on Wheels); <br /> Spectrum Community Services (Spectrum); and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity <br /> Housing (ECHO Housing), copies of which are attached, have been presented to the City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized for <br /> the CDBG public services grant amounts of$19,400 for CALICO; $34,500 for Davis Street; <br /> $25,700 for SOS/Meals on Wheels; $14,645 for Spectrum; and $10,000 for ECHO Housing fair <br /> housing services, as provided in the associated staff report. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 6th day of July, 2015, by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
