IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015-124 <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE(S) FOR THE <br /> LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2015 ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br /> WHEREAS,the League of California Cities ("League") 2015 Annual Conference is <br /> scheduled for September 30 to October 2 in Los Angeles; and <br /> WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business <br /> Meeting, scheduled for October 2, in which the League membership considers and takes action <br /> on resolutions that establish League policy; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the <br /> Annual Business Meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the <br /> event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That Councilmember Thomas is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and <br /> That Councilmember Lopez is hereby designated as the alternate voting delegate. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Lopez and passed and adopted this 6th day of July, 2015, <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> A <br /> ATTEST: `j/' td• <br /> Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
