IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 113 (2866) <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO GEORGE E. MASKER, INC. FOR THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO COMMUNITY LIBRARY CENTER SEISMIC RETROFIT, RENOVATION, <br /> AND EXPANSION, PACKAGE 22, PAINT AND WALL COVERINGS <br /> PROJECT NO. 98-215-28-115 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on June 10, 1999, publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 99-64 of the Council of <br /> said City adopted on May 17, 1999, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br /> therefore,to wit: George E. Masker, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of <br /> the City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Ga l van and passed and adopted this <br /> 19th day of July 1999, by the following called vote: <br />
