IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015-129 <br /> RESOLUTION TO INCREASE CHANGE ORDER CAP FROM 25% TO 40%, WHICH <br /> WOULD RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL INCREASE OF $28,658.00 FOR A TOTAL <br /> INCREASE TO THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT OF $52,319.00 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO <br /> EXCEED AMOUNT OF $183,118.00 IN THE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH CAROLLO ENGINEERS, <br /> INC., FOR THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT(WPCP) DIRT RELOCATION <br /> PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 2015.0300 <br /> WHEREAS,the City of San Leandro did, on March 17, 2014, approve a Consulting <br /> Services Agreement with Carollo Engineers, Inc. for the Water Pollution Control Plant Dirt <br /> Relocation project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the cost to complete change order services will exceed the project's Change <br /> Order cap; and <br /> WHEREAS,the project budget is sufficient to accommodate the increased Change Order <br /> cost; and <br /> WHEREAS, draft Amendment No. 1 between the City of San Leandro and Carollo <br /> Engineer, Inc. has been presented to this City Council and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of said Amendment No. 1. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That the Change Order Cap is increased to 40%, or$52,319.00, such that the total <br /> not to exceed amount of the Agreement is increased to $183,118.00 for the Carollo Engineers, <br /> Inc. Agreement on the WPCP Dirt Relocation Project, Project No. 2015.0300, and approval is <br /> granted for the attached amendment reflecting the not to exceed amount. <br /> 2. That said Amendment No. 1 substantially in the form presented is hereby <br /> approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />
