Note the location of exit lighting for these <br /> pathways as well. <br /> • The location of any overhead obstructions and their clearances <br /> • The location of property lines and assumed property lines between <br /> buildings on the same property as well as any easements. <br /> The site plan will also need to note the location and distance of fire hydrants that <br /> are along the property frontage as well as the closest hydrants to each side of the <br /> property that are located along the access roads that serves the property. In <br /> addition, the improved face of curb to face of curb or edge of pavement width of <br /> the access road that serves the property will need to be noted. <br /> N. Fire Access. (Sections 503.1.1, 503.2, 503.2.1, 503.2.3, 503.2.4, 503.2.5, 503.2.7 <br /> of the 2013 California Fire Code and local ordinances). Fire access is required to <br /> be an approved all-weather surface capable of supporting 75,000 pounds. The fire <br /> department access road is required to be 20 feet wide and have a minimum clear <br /> vertical height of 13'6" (in State responsibility areas [SRA] the clear vertical <br /> height is required to be a minimum of 15 feet). The Grade of fire department <br /> access roads shall not exceed 14%. Show on the plans the location of the all- <br /> weather access road and a description of the construction. <br /> 0. Hydrants & Fire Flows. (Sections 507.1, 507.2, 507.3, 507.4, 507.5, Appendix B- <br /> Section B105-Table B105.1, Appendix Section C105 and Table C105.1 of the <br /> 2013 California Fire Code). Show the location of any on-site fire hydrants and <br /> any fire hydrants that are along the property frontage as well as the closest <br /> hydrants to each side of the property that are located along the access roads that <br /> serves this property. Provide a letter from the water company indicating what the <br /> available fire flow is to this property. <br /> P. Addressing. (Section 505 of the 2013 California Fire Code and local ordinances). <br /> Addressing shall be illuminated or in an illuminated area. The address characters <br /> shall be contrasting to their background. If address is placed on glass,the numbers <br /> shall be on the exterior of the glass and a contrasting background placed behind <br /> the numbers. <br /> • Building Address. The building shall be provided with all addresses or <br /> the assigned address range so as to be clearly visible from either <br /> direction of travel on the street the address references. The address <br /> characters shall not less than 6 inches in height by 1-inch stroke. <br /> Larger sizes may be necessary depending on the setbacks and <br /> visibility. <br /> • Multi-Tenants. Where a building has multiple tenants, address shall <br /> also be provided near the main entrance door of each tenant space.
