High Pile Permit Storage Application will need to be submitted to the Fire <br /> Department along with a complete Warehouse Storage and Layout Submittal. The <br /> actual Permit is not issued until all work for such storage has been completed and <br /> inspected. <br /> VI. POLICE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Applicant/Property Owner shall install surveillance cameras around the property <br /> as well as a monitored alarm system. <br /> VII. PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. The planned development falls within the Alameda County Industries (ACI) <br /> service area. Applicant should note that the City of San Leandro holds an <br /> exclusive franchise agreement for solid waste and recycling services with ACI. <br /> B. The trash enclosure must be constructed on a level pad with no more than a 2% <br /> grade. <br /> C. A concrete slab shall be constructed either in front of each recycling and solid <br /> waste enclosure or at the point of receptacle pick-up by the collection vehicle to <br /> minimize damage to the surrounding asphalt paving. The slab should be sized <br /> appropriately to accommodate a container. <br /> D. Trash enclosure guidelines are available at: <br /> https://www.sanleandro.org/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?blobid=15 084. <br /> E. Applicant is subject to Alameda County Mandatory Recycling Ordinance. For <br /> more information, visit www.RecyclingRulesAC.org. <br /> F. Project is subject to Construction & Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance as <br /> per Chapter 3-7 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, which states: all asphalt and <br /> concrete and 50% of all other materials generated at a project site must be <br /> recycled for projects with a valuation in excess of $100,000. Permit Applicants <br /> must demonstrate compliance by completing and submitting an online Waste <br /> Management Plan using Green Halo Systems (www.GreenHaloSystems.com) <br /> prior to permit issuance. Applicants must submit recycling and disposal receipts <br /> online and submit the waste management report before scheduling the final <br /> inspection. Note: Project will not be finaled until all recycling and disposal tags <br /> have been registered into Green Halo Systems. <br /> VIII. CONSTRUCTION PROVISIONS <br /> A. Pest and vermin control shall be instituted prior to the demolition and construction <br /> of the project. <br /> B. During construction the following high standards for sanitation are required: <br /> Garbage cans, construction dumpsters, and debris piles shall be removed on a <br /> Agreement to Conditions May 26, 2015 <br /> PLN2015-00004 Page 16 of 20 <br />
