r <br /> I <br /> IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99- 151 (1022/1044) <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO.2 <br /> TO REFLECT AN INCREASE IN THE GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATION <br /> OF$29,000 TO FUND CONTRACTING THE PROCESSING <br /> AND COLLECTION OF PARKING CITATIONS <br /> Recitals <br /> An agreement between the City of San Leandro and Enforcement Technology Inc.,for the <br /> processing and collection of parking citations,has been presented to and adopted by this Council. <br /> To effectuate the implementation of the new parking citation program,the City of San <br /> Leandro desires to purchase electronic ticketing equipment. <br /> Said contract for services and purchase of equipment are not approved Budget appropriations <br /> for the 1999-2000 fiscal year. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the 1999-2000 Budget is hereby amended by a$29,000 increase to the General Fund for <br /> the purpose of contracting services for the processing and collection of parking citations and to <br /> purchase three(3)handheld computers(Autocite System)for the issuance of parking citations. It is <br /> anticipated that this increase will be offset by an estimated$57,000 in new revenues to the General <br /> Fund from this new program. <br />
