© Management Team <br />Advisory Board Members <br />Attachment I (Advisory Board) <br />Harborside San Leandro is proud to have identified and selected a strong group of <br />professionals to join our advisory board. These individuals have backgrounds in <br />medical cannabis, science, health, public policy, and as community leaders in San <br />Leandro. The advisory board will be charged with several functions. They will <br />meet twice a year to help HSL select the nonprofit organization(s) that will benefit <br />from our community benefits program They will also advise the Board and <br />Management Team on special issues that involve their areas of expertise, including <br />medical cannabis advances, science, health rare, HIV issues, and public policy. <br />Our advisory board members are <br />Jean Queen — Former mayor of Oakland with expertise in city and state regulatory <br />issues pertaining to medical cannabis. <br />Dana Van Gorder — Executive Director of Project Inform and a leader in HIV <br />public policy and health related issues. <br />Barbara Lawson — Seasoned CFO with experience in profit and nonprofit <br />organizations such as The Kidney Trust, Guide Dogs for the Blind and the UC <br />education system. <br />Chris Van Hook — USDA -accredited organic certifier as well as a California <br />cannabis compliance attorney. Presently he is the program director for Clean <br />Green Certification Program, a Nationally recognized cannabis certification <br />program based on the USDA National Organic Program. <br />Danny Maynard — Safety and Security manager for Harborside Oakland with <br />experience in law enforcement and medical cannabis. <br />Cory Silver — Communications director for Kaiser Penn omente in Oakland with <br />expertise in health cue, union negotiations and communications. <br />Sara Ubelhart — Long-term San Leandro resident and owner of San Leandro <br />community hub Zolcalo Coffeehouse. <br />Donald Land — Member of the UC Davis Forensic Science Graduate Group and <br />the Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology. Land co-founded Halent Laboratories <br />in 2010 as one of the foremost laboratories for medicinal cannabis testing and <br />research, later merging into Steep Hill Halent in 2013. <br />Application to Operate a Medical Cannabis Dispensary Hallorside Health CenterSanLeandro.
