  <br /> DRAFT City of San Leandro FY 2014‐2015 CAPER 15 <br />OMB Control No: 2506‐0117 (exp. 07/31/2015)  <br />CR‐30 ‐ Public Housing 91.220(h); 91.320(j)  <br />Actions taken to address the needs of public housing  <br />  <br />San Leandro has no public housing.  The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA), which also has  <br />no public housing sites in San Leandro, administers the Section 8 Voucher and Shelter Plus Care certificate  <br />programs for the City.  HACA provided 1,486 vouchers and 19 certificates in FY 2014‐2015.  <br />  <br />City continued to support Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) to ensure adequate outreach to  <br />minority, limited‐English proficiency, and special needs populations regarding the availability of public housing  <br />and Section 8 vouchers.  <br />  <br />Actions taken to encourage public housing residents to become more involved in management and  <br />participate in homeownership  <br />  <br />Not applicable.  <br />  <br />Actions taken to provide assistance to troubled PHAs  <br />  <br />Not applicable.
