San Leandro Bikewav East Improvements <br />Description: Installation of signs, pavement stripes and <br />pavement markings to create 2.3 miles of Class II bike <br />lanes and 10.5 miles of Class III bikeways east of the <br />UPRR tracks. Also installed green bike lanes for the first <br />time in San Leandro at various major intersections. <br />Status: Construction substantially completed in August. <br />Contractor working on punch list. <br />Total project cost: $400K <br />Funding source: Measure B Bicycle and Pedestrian Funds <br />
