The City has met and conferred to agreement with <br />SLMO regarding the position. <br />The Deputy City Manager classification performs highly responsible and complex <br />professional administrative and analytical work to support the City Manager's Office; <br />provides leadership in policy formation and implementation of policies and procedures; <br />promotes effective and efficient operations throughout the organization by facilitating <br />interdepartmental cooperation and sharing of resources; provides responsible staff <br />assistance to the Assistant City Manager, City Manager and City Council. The Deputy <br />City Manager classification will also provide professional development opportunities for <br />staff and flexibility to meet future operational and staffing needs. <br />Staff recommends a 2.5% salary increase for the classification of Tree Trimmer 11.
