City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: December 21, 2015 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:15-664 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Keith Cooke <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving a Consulting Services Agreement with Architectural <br />Resources Group, Inc. for Conceptual Design for the Casa Peralta <br />Improvement Project, Project No. 2016.0560 (provides conceptual design for <br />the subject project in the amount of $65,800 and cumulative change orders up <br />to $16,450, to be funded by General Funds) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Architectural <br />Resources Group, Inc., a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual <br />change orders up to a maximum of $6,580.00, which is 10% of the original contract amount, <br />each; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve <br />cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $16,450.00, which is 25% of the original <br />contract amount. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 12/15/2015
