City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: February 1, 2016 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:16-043 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Lianne Marshall <br />Assistant City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving Publicly Available Pay Schedules as Required by <br />California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Section 570.5 for the Assistant City <br />Manager and Police Chief <br />WHEREAS, California Code of Regulations, Title 2, section 570.5, requires CalPERS <br />member agencies to have duly approved and adopted publicly available pay schedules; and <br />WHEREAS, the pay schedules must meet the following criteria: position title for the <br />employee positions, pay rate for the positions, and time bases for the pay rate positions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this regulation requires this criteria be contained in a single Council <br />approved document; and <br />WHEREAS, the attached pay schedules meet the above requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved employment agreements for the Assistant City <br />Manager and Police Chief on December 12, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the Assistant City Manager and Police Chief received salary increases on <br />June 1, 2015 and January 1, 2016 in accordance with the terms of their employment <br />agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the Assistant City Manager and Police Chief salary schedules, attached hereto, <br />are hereby adopted. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the attached Exhibits are part of this resolution. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 1/26/2016
