City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: February 1, 2016 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:16-013 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Debbie Pollart <br />Public Works Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving an $81,000 Surrendered and Abandoned Vessel <br />Exchange (SAVE) Grant Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and the <br />State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating <br />and Waterways for Abatement of Abandoned and Surrendered Watercraft at <br />the San Leandro Marina and the San Leandro Shoreline <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of <br />California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy <br />of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />An appropriation by City Council for $81,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been <br />established and will be replenished by grant proceeds. <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 1/26/2016
