IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2016-043 RESOLUTION MAKING A SOLE SOURCE FINDING AND APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND STRATEGIC PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $144,646.95 FROM THE FY2015-2016 IT OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Strategic Products and Services, LLC has been presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to finds that pursuant to California Public Contract Code section 3400(c)(2), this contract should be awarded to a sole source in order to match the design and plans, and other products already planned and in the course of completion for the project. NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said agreement with Strategic Products and Services, LLC in the amount of $144,646.95 is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized and That the amount of$144,646.95 from the FY2015-2016 IT Operating Budget(Account 688-13-121-7410) is hereby authorized to purchase said agreement. That said agreement must be awarded to Strategic Products and Services, LLC as a sole source, because the City Council finds that under California Public Contract Code section 3400(c)(2), a sole source procurement is necessary to match existing products and designs that are in the course of completing the project.
