File Number: 16-171 <br />Previous Actions <br />·On February 7, 2011, the City Council adopted the current Bicycle and Pedestrian Master <br />Plan. <br />·On April 6, 2015, by Resolution No. 2015-072, the City Council awarded the construction <br />contract for the San Leandro Bikeway East Improvements Project, Project No. 2013.0160. <br />Applicable General Plan Policies <br />This action is consistent with Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation Goal No. 14 of the General <br />Plan and Action Item 14.01-A: Maintain and implement a Citywide Bikeway Plan <br />Environmental Review <br />This project is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per <br />Section 15301 - Existing Facilities. The Notice of Exemption was filed with the Alameda <br />County Recorder’s Office on November 7, 2014. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />The total project cost is $370,940, which includes design, construction, and construction <br />management.
