Operational Savings <br />The Purchaser will realize maintenance and operational savings resulting from the new system installations, <br />extended warranties, and/or service agreements provided by Climatec LLC. The operational savings are agreed to <br />be met upon the completed installation of the energy retrofit contract. <br />Pre Retrofit Measurements <br />Existing operating hours and cooling/heating temperature setpoints for each HVAC unit or area will be obtained <br />from current thermostats/EMS. <br />Post Retrofit Measurements <br />Post -retrofit operating schedules, cooling and heating temperature setpoints in both occupied and unoccupied modes <br />for the HVAC equipment will be obtained using the new controls system. <br />Adjustments <br />For this FEM the following adjustments are allowed for purposes of Measurement and Verification: <br />➢ Addition or subtraction to the conditioned square footage of facilities. <br />➢ Utility rates, billing days or degree days. <br />➢ Equipment changes. <br />➢ Increase or decrease in facility usage as associated with daily occupancy times and special events. <br />Commissioning <br />Commissioning shall consist of inspections, and a final Commissioning report. The Inspections and Report shall <br />consist of: <br />➢ Commissioning of the energy management system (EMS) shall include verification that the operating <br />schedules, cooling and heating temperature set points and the control sequences for the HVAC equipment <br />have been programmed as specified. <br />Attachment A <br />*CLIMATEC� Page 13 of 13 <br />MERGING BUIL-DINGS & TECHNOLOGY <br />
