IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2016-062 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-17 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on the best revenue and <br /> expenditure information available at the time budgets are prepared; and <br /> WHEREAS, budget adjustments are periodically necessary for changes that arise and <br /> require additional budget appropriations or re-appropriations between budget line items; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2016-17 Budget was adopted by Council on June 1, 2015; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the 2016-17 Budget is hereby amended as shown on that certain document entitled <br /> Staff Report for a Resolution Approving Amendments to the City of San Leandro General Fund <br /> Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-17 for the following: <br /> Child care at Marea Alta $ 800,000 <br /> Traffic calming efforts 250,000 <br /> Multilingual outreach 50,000 <br /> Disaster and Emergency preparedness 100,000 <br /> Code Enforcement/Community Compliance 50,000 <br /> Quality of Life such as Shoreline Improvements 1,000,000 <br /> Total General Fund Considerations $2,250,000 <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 16th day of May, 2016, <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: âkV <br /> Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
