IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-013 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN $81,000 SURRENDERED AND ABANDONED VESSEL <br />EXCHANGE (SAVE) GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, <br />DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS FOR ABATEMENT OF ABANDONED <br />AND SURRENDERED WATERCRAFT AT THE SAN LEANDRO MARINA AND THE <br />SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE <br />an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, <br />and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy of which is <br />attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />An appropriation by City Council for $81,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been <br />established and will be replenished by grant proceeds. <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 1 st day of February, <br />2016, by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />1 <br />"IL <br />ATTEST: <br />Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
