, IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-063 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />2015 LOCAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency requires local jurisdictions to <br />update their Local Hazard Mitigation Plans every five years in order to be eligible for disaster <br />mitigation and assistance funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro 2015 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, a copy of <br />which is attached, has been presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City of San Leandro 2015 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby adopted <br />subject to certain minor amendments as recommended by the City Manager in consultation with <br />the City Attorney. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 23rd day of May, 2016, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ---, k <br />Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
