<br />Jess Villar is a licensed professional engineer with over 25 years of code compliance
<br />experience which encompasses architectural, structural, M/E/P, energy, accessibility and life
<br />safety plan review and inspection tasks across a range of project types including residential,
<br />commercial, and industrial structures. Jess communicates and interacts effectively with City
<br />staff, the public, and contractors and developers. He is also adept at maintaining
<br />construction/building inspection files and logs and preparing reports and correspondence.

<br />Project Experience
<br />Responsibilities include reviewing plan documents including calculations, and specifications
<br />for code compliance to fire and life safety, accessibility, energy compliance, noise abatement,
<br />mechanical, plumbing, electrical & structural provisions. Project reviews encompassed HVAC
<br />systems, duct layouts, fire/smoke dampers, furnaces, ducts, chimneys, water heaters,
<br />environmental and product conveying ducts, smoke control s ystem for high rise buildings,
<br />refrigeration piping and machinery rooms, DWV, gas, domestic water piping.
<br />Also review mechanical, electrical, structural equipment and other closed systems (e.g.
<br />boilers, condensers, compressors, pumps, fans, diesel engines, HVAC, pressure vessel tanks,
<br />water storage tanks, toxic/hazardous tanks, exhaust stack, combustion turbine, generator,
<br />transformer, gas piping, ducts, cable trays, specifications, and installations) for gas-turbine,
<br />steam boiler & co-generation power plants.
