<br /> <br />City of Palo Alto, CA <br />Building Inspection, Permit Technician, Plan Review <br /> <br />Since 2007, 4LEAF has provided numerous combination inspectors to assist the City’s staff with performing <br />routine daily inspections for commercial and residential properties located throughout Palo Alto. Our inspection <br />services vary from full‐time to temporary part‐time staff to help augment vacation or extended absences due to <br />illness and/or market demand. <br /> <br />On‐Site Plans Examiners <br />Since 2010, 4LEAF has provided on‐site plans examiners for the City of Palo Alto. A majority of our plans <br />examiners are California‐Registered Engineers and are responsible for reviewing large projects under the <br />direction of the City’s Chief Building Official with values ranging between $100,000 and $50 Million. Projects <br />range from large commercial, restaurants, office parks, and custom residential projects. Some of our larger <br />projects include: <br /> <br />• Stanford Hospital (Parking Garage & Visitors) $32,000,000.00 <br />• Hilton Hotel (4 Stories and underground park) $18,022,200.00 <br />• Stanford School of Medicine (3165 porter) $17,098,981.00 <br />• VM Ware (Sitework P hase 3) $13,000,000.00 <br />• Stanford School of Medicine (3155 Porter) $12,709,237.00 <br /> <br />Inspection Services (Project Specific) <br />4LEAF provided the Project Inspector on the City of Palo Alto’s new Mitchell Park <br />Library and Community Center under Turner Construction Management. 4LEAF was <br />responsible for performing combination inspections for this LEED Gold Certification <br />project. The project consisted of a new 56,000 sq. ft. joint facility that replaces two <br />former facilities. The new Mitchell Park Library and Community Center is a highly <br />sustainable joint‐use facility that will be a vibrant destination for civic, cultural, social, <br />educational, and recreational activities. <br /> <br />4LEAF provided the building inspection services on the Taube‐Koret Campus for Jewish <br />Living. This project replaced the old Sun Microsystems campus and made way for a 8.6 <br />acre and $350 Million mixed‐used facility which included Senior Housing, Gymnasium, <br />in‐door and outdoor swimming pools, parking structure, theatre, school, etc. This <br />project was the recipient of several awards and was a huge benefit to the community. <br /> <br />4LEAF provided two full‐time inspectors to the new VMware campus. This project was <br />a $1.3 Billion expansion project at the Stanford Research Park. This project included the <br />construction of an extensive expansion and renovation of the existing corporate office <br />campus totaling approximately 800,000 sq. ft. and three (3) parking garage structures <br />totaling approximately 2,900 stalls.
