<br />4LEAF has provided the City of Sacramento plan review, field inspection, and permit processing <br />services during the past decade and has established a collaborative working relationship with the <br />City's Community Development Department. Our staff are well versed in the City’s processes and <br />procedures, and we take pride in providing excellent customer service and technical expertise. <br /> <br />Project Highlights <br />California Family Fitness, K Street <br />One of the most interesting City projects that 4LEAF reviewed in the past three <br />years was the California Family Fitness project on K Street. This project is on the <br />revitalized K Street Corridor and is a renovation of an existing unreinforced <br />masonry building that had no as‐built or drawings. The 31,000 sq. ft., 4‐story, <br />Type IIA, A‐3/B occupancy building is a $4.5 million project for which 4LEAF <br />performed Life Safety/Accessibility/Structural/Plumbing/Mechanical/Electrical <br />reviews. We collaborated closely with the City’s Project Manager and the design <br />team to work through some difficult design constraints which required the <br />submittal and approval of an alternate material and methods of construction. <br /> <br />Hobby Lobby, Arden Way <br />4LEAF performed all plan reviews for the new, $5 million, 55,000 sq. ft., single‐story, Type V‐B <br />Hobby Lobby store. We worked closely with the City’s Project Manager in order to meet some <br />very tight construction schedule constraints. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Fresh and Easy Grocery Store, Broadway and 34th Street <br />4LEAF performed a Life Safety/Accessibility/Structural Review of a new $2 million, 15,000 sq. <br />ft., Type V‐B construction for the Fresh and Easy grocery store on Broadway and 34th Street. <br />4LEAF worked in collaboration with City staff to complete this project in an accelerated time <br />frame. 4LEAF worked closely with the City’s liaison who fostered this project through the <br />permit process. <br /> <br />Annual Contract Value: $1 Million <br /> <br />Agency Name: City of Sacramento <br />Contact Name: Winfred DeLeon, Building Official <br />Contact Telephone: Office: (916) 808‐5475 <br />Contact Email: WDeleon@cityofsacramento.org
