<br />Section F: References <br /> <br />Miscellaneous jurisdictional inspection assignments <br /> <br />City of Palo Alto <br />Building Inspection, Permit Technician, Plan Review <br />Since 2007, 4LEAF has provided several combination inspectors to assist the City staff with routine <br />daily inspections for commercial and residential properties located throughout Palo Alto. Our <br />inspection services vary from full‐time to temporary part‐time staff to help augment vacation or <br />extended absences to due illness and/or market demand. <br /> <br />On‐Site Plans Examiners and Off‐Site Review <br />Since 2010, 4LEAF has provided on‐site plans examiners for the City of Palo Alto. All Plans Examiners are <br />registered Engineers in the State of California and are responsible for reviewing larger projects between <br />$100,000 to $50,000,000 under the direction of the Chief Building Official. In addition, they will also assist the <br />Permit Counter with over‐the‐counter plan reviews and general questions from the public. Some of the most <br />recently reviewed projects include Skype, Stanford Medical Center, Technology Credit Union, and VM Ware. <br /> <br />Inspection Services (Project Specific) <br />4LEAF is also providing the Project Inspector on the City of Palo Alto new Mitchell Park <br />Library and Community Center under Turner Construction Management. 4LEAF is <br />responsible for performing combination inspections and the project is on track for LEED <br />Gold Certification. The project consists of a new 56,000 square foot joint facility that <br />will replace the two former facilities. The new Mitchell Park Library and Community <br />Center is a highly sustainable joint‐use facility that will be a vibrant destination for civic, <br />cultural, social, educational, and recreational activities. <br /> <br />4LEAF provided the building inspection services on the Taube‐Koret Campus for Jewish <br />Living. This project replaced the old Sun Microsystems space and made way for a 8.6 <br />acre and $350 Million mixed used facility which included Senior Housing, Gymnasium, <br />in‐door and outdoor swimming pools, parking structure, theatre, school, etc. This <br />project won several awards and was a huge benefit to the community. <br /> <br />4LEAF is providing two full‐time inspectors to the VMware campus. This project is a <br />$1.3 Billion expansion project at the Stanford Research Park. This project includes <br />construction of an extensive expansion and renovation of the current corporate office <br />campus totaling approximately 800,000 SF and three (3) parking garage structures for <br />approximately 2,900 stalls.
