IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-076 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INCREASE IN PROJECT COSTS FROM $554,463.00 TO <br />$689,414.00 (AN INCREASE OF $134,951.00, OR 24.3%) FOR THE ANNUAL SIDEWALK <br />REPAIR PROGRAM 2014-15; PROJECT NO. 2015.0060 <br />WHEREAS, on October 3, 2014, by Resolution No. 2014-117, the City of San Leandro <br />awarded a construction contract to AJW Construction for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Program <br />2014-15; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro authorized increasing the <br />Change Order cap to over 25%; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro authorized a total expenditure <br />cap of $554,463.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the work to complete the project will exceed the expenditure cap; and <br />WHEREAS, the project's budget is sufficient to accommodate the increased expenditure <br />cost. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 20th day of June, 2016, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-076 <br />(0) <br />
