Joseph Nicolas, P.E. <br />Senior Plan Review Engineer/Project Manager <br />Experience Experience Summary <br />30 years Joe has more than 30 years of experience with both structural <br />Education design and code compliance for large-scale projects as well as <br />California Polytechnic State University being a Project Manager on collaborative code review and <br />San Luis Obispo, CA- building design projects. While leading the Plan Review Staff of <br />B.S. Architectural Design more than 45 at the City of Sacramento, Joe had oversight of large <br />Certifications public and private developments. These projects included the $10 <br />California Registered Civil Engineer Million renovation of Sacramento's Historic City Hall; and high-rise <br />License # 58139 buildings including the $650 Million, 53 -story, Towers Building on <br />Capitola Mall; and the $138 Million, 39 -story Aura Residential <br />Professional Affiliations <br />ICC —International Code Council Towers. Having worked for 4LEAF for over 7 -years, Joe has been <br />the Project Manager for major projects for the Judicial Council of <br />Structural Engineers of Northern <br />California California - Administrative Office of the Courts, the City of <br />Cupertino - Main Street Cupertino, for Stanislaus County -Capital <br />Improvement Projects, and the County of Alameda -Ashland Youth <br />Center. <br />Select Work Experience <br />4LEAF, Inc. <br />Senior Engineer/ Senior Project Manager <br />For nearly eight years, Joe has been responsible for the management of 4LEAF's plan review <br />operation. Joe has crafted and managed a team of highly successful engineers and MEP staff of <br />more than 20 personnel to work with numerous local clients including the City of Sacramento, <br />City of Folsom, City of Roseville, City of Galt, Aerojet, and numerous Cities and Counties <br />throughout the Central Valley, East Bay Area, and South Bay Area. Joe has worked on and <br />managed a number of high-profile projects including: <br />Calaveras County Jail ($68 Million) <br />- Tuolumne County Jail ($30 Million) <br />Main Street Cupertino ($300 Million) <br />- Administrative Office of the Courts ($300 Million) <br />Private Consulting Firm, Sacramento, CA <br />Director of Plan Review <br />Joe was responsible for supervising commercial and residential plan review staff on various <br />projects working for developers and various building departments.
