City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 18, 2016 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:16-367 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Jeff Kay <br />Acting Assistant City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving the Non-Professional Services Agreement Between <br />the City of San Leandro and 21-Tech LLC (approves agreement for technical <br />support of Accela permit system in an amount not to exceed $85,000 <br />RESOLUTION Making a Sole Source Justification and Approving the Non-professional <br />Services Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and 21Tech, LLC (approves one <br />purchase totaling $85,000.00) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and 21Tech, LLC has <br />been presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that in order to match work already done on an <br />existing public project, it is necessary to award the work as a sole source contract, in <br />accordance with California Public Contract Code section 3400(c)(2); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement with 21Tech, LLC in the amount of $85,000.00 is hereby <br />approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />That a sole source contract is justified in this instance because the work proposed is <br />necessary to match work on an existing public project, in accordance with California Public <br />Contract Code section 3400(c)(2); and <br />That the amount of $85,000.00 from the Information Technology Fund account <br />688-13-121-7410is hereby authorized to purchase said agreement. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/13/2016 <br />312
