IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-107 <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE(S) FOR <br />THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2016 ANNUAL CONFERENCE (PROVIDES FOR <br />DISCUSSION AND DESIGNATION OF A VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE <br />VOTING DELEGATE[S]) <br />WHEREAS, the League of California Cities ("League") 2016 Annual Conference is <br />scheduled for October 5-7 in Long Beach; and <br />WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business <br />Meeting, scheduled for October 7, in which the League membership considers and takes action <br />on resolutions that establish League policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the <br />Annual Business Meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the <br />event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Councilmember Lee Thomas is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and <br />That Mayor Cutter is/are hereby designated as the alternate voting delegate(s). <br />Introduced by Mayor Cutter and passed and adopted this 18th day of July, 2016, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lee, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-107 <br />
