DR <br />A <br />F <br />T <br />City of San Leandro FY 2014‐2015 CAPER 8 <br />OMB Control No: 2506‐0117 (exp. 07/31/2015)  <br />Leveraging  <br />Explain how federal funds  leveraged additional resources (private, state and local funds), including  <br />a description of how matching requirements were satisfied, as well as how any publicly owned land  <br />or property located within the jurisdiction that were used to address the needs identified in the plan.  <br />Marea Alta  <br />BRIDGE Housing leveraged $650,000 in federal HOME program loan to construct Marea Alta, a 115‐unit  <br />affordable rental housing project that is currently under construction.  The tax credit‐funded project is  <br />projected to be completed by or before Fall/Winter 2016.  BRIDGE Housing received nearly 10,500 pre‐ <br />applications for the 115 units.  1,500 households have been randomly chosen through a lottery to be  <br />processed for eligibility to move into Marea Alta.
