DR <br />A <br />F <br />T <br />City of San Leandro FY 2014‐2015 CAPER 16 <br />OMB Control No: 2506‐0117 (exp. 07/31/2015)  <br />CR‐30 ‐ Public Housing 91.220(h); 91.320(j)  <br />Actions taken to address the needs of public housing  <br />San Leandro has no public housing.  The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA), which also has no  <br />public housing sites in San Leandro, administers the Section 8 Voucher and Shelter Plus Care certificate programs  <br />for the City.  As of June 2016, there are 1,424 vouchers and 17 certificates being utilized by San Leandro  <br />residents.  <br />City continued to support Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) to ensure adequate outreach to  <br />minority, limited‐English proficiency, and special needs populations regarding the availability of public housing  <br />and Section 8 vouchers.  <br />Actions taken to encourage public housing residents to become more involved in management and  <br />participate in homeownership  <br />Not applicable.  <br />Actions taken to provide assistance to troubled PHAs  <br />Not applicable.
