City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: September 19, 2016 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:16-445 PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Cynthia Battenberg <br />Community Development Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving the City of San Leandro FY 2015-2016 <br />Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) (approves <br />the CAPER for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to provisions of the Housing and Community Development Act <br />and amendments, the federal government requires local communities to submit a <br />Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) on the progress made on the <br />Annual Consolidated Action Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development (HUD), duly published notice of, and conducted a public hearing to <br />obtain the views of citizens on the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report <br />(CAPER) for fiscal year 2015-2016; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the said Consolidated Annual Performance <br />Evaluation Report (CAPER), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends execution and submission of said <br />Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) as attached. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San <br />Leandro hereby: <br />1.Approves the attached FY 2015-2016 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation <br />Report (CAPER), to meet the HUD CAPER submittal deadline of September 28, 2016; <br />2.Authorizes the City Manager to execute and submit the same on behalf of the City <br />of San Leandro. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 9/13/2016
