IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-142 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br />WRECO FOR THE DESIGN OF THE 2016-17 ANNUAL STREET <br />OVERLAY/REHABILITATION PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $258,490 AND <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR INDIVIDUAL CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 10% OR $25,849 <br />EACH AND CUMULATIVE CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 25% OR $64,623 OF THE <br />ORIGINAL CONTRACT, PROJECT NO. 2017.0050 (PROVIDES FOR TOPOGRAPHIC <br />SURVEY AND CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZATION <br />OF CHANGE ORDERS TO BE FUNDED BY THE GENERAL FUND, GAS TAX, <br />VEHICLE REGISTRATION FEES, MEASURE B AND BB FUNDS, AND MEASURE BB <br />GRANT FUNDS) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and WRECO a copy of which <br />is attached, is presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual <br />amendments to the scope of work up to a maximum of $25,849, which is 10% of the original <br />contract amount, each; and <br />That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative <br />amendments to the scope of work up to a maximum of $64,623, which is 25% of the original <br />contract amount. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 7h day of November, <br />2016, by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Lopez, Prola, Reed, Lee, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: A - <br />Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-142 <br />
