File Number: 16-619 <br />Leandro City Clerk since fifteen days prior to enactment of this Ordinance. While this Ordinance <br />is in force, a true copy of the California Property Maintenance Code shall be kept for public <br />inspection in the office of the San Leandro Building Division. <br />Section 7-5-305: ENFORCEMENT AND ABATEMENT PROCEDURES. Enforcement and <br />abatement procedures set forth in The San Leandro Building Code or Articles 11, 12, and 13 of <br />this Chapter shall apply to this Article. <br />Section 7-5-310: REFERENCED STANDARDS AND APPENDICES. Referenced Standards <br />and Appendices in this code are not adopted, but authorized for use by the Building Official. <br />Section 7-5-315: BOARD OF APPEALS. The Board of Appeals created under Section 7-5-113 <br />of the San Leandro Building Code shall hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or <br />determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of this <br />Code. The Board shall function as described in said Section of the San Leandro Building Code. <br />Section 7-5-320: FEES. All fees shall be determined in accordance with Title 7, Chapter 5, <br />Article 1, Section 109 of the San Leandro Municipal Code. <br />Section 7-5-325: SUBSTANDARD BUILDING; CONDITIONS. Any building or portion thereof <br />including any dwelling unit, guest room or suite of rooms or the premises on which the same is <br />located, in which there exists any of the following listed conditions to an extent that endangers the <br />life, limb, health, property, safety, or welfare of the public or the occupants thereof shall have <br />deemed and hereby is declared to be a substandard building: <br />(a) Inadequate sanitation shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br />(1) Lack of, or improper water closet, lavatory, or bathtub or shower in a dwelling <br />unit. <br />(2) Lack of, or improper water closets, lavatories, and bathtubs or showers per <br />number of guests in a hotel. <br />(3) Lack of, or improper kitchen sink. <br />(4) Lack of hot and cold running water to plumbing fixtures in a hotel. <br />(5) Lack of hot and cold running water to plumbing fixtures in a dwelling unit. <br />(6) Lack of adequate heating. <br />(7) Lack of, or improper operation of required ventilating equipment. <br />(8) Lack of minimum amounts of natural light and ventilation required by this code. <br />(9) Room and space dimensions less than required by this code. <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 11/29/2016
