IN THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-162 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER THE CITY INTO <br />A PROJECT FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR DISCRETIONARY FUNDING PROVIDED <br />BY MEASURE BB TRANSPORTATION SALES TAX REVENUE (PROVIDES FOR AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE ALAMEDA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION <br />FOR THE GRANT OF $3,000,000 FOR STREET REHABILITATION WORK) <br />WHEREAS, on November 4, 2014, Alameda County voters approved the 2014 <br />Transportation Expenditure Plan ("Measure BB"), a half -cent transportation sales tax that <br />extends the existing 2000 Measure B transportation sales tax, and augments it by a one-half <br />percent, to fund transportation projects and programs in Alameda County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Commission ("Alameda CTC") has <br />granted Measure BB discretionary funds to the City of San Leandro for a street rehabilitation <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, Alameda CTC requires an agreement in order to distribute Measure BB <br />discretionary funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the project agreement between the City of San Leandro and the Alameda CTC <br />is presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and the City Manager <br />recommends approval of the project agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. That said agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantial revisions to said <br />agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-162 <br />
