IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-045 <br />RESOLUTION FOR CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF APPROPRIATING $1,000,000 <br />FROM GENERAL FUND ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY RESERVE TO FUND <br />COMMUNITY CARE INITIATIVE COSTS BEGINNING IN FISCAL YEAR 2016-17 <br />THROUGH 2018-19 <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is committed to maintaining and enhancing community <br />standards to protect the aesthetic character of the community and provide high-quality services to <br />residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed staff to allocate $1,000,000 in carryover funds from <br />the 2015-16 Fiscal Year toward a two-year Community Care initiative that will strengthen and expand <br />City programs to address code compliance, illegal dumping, graffiti abatement and other related <br />functions; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to initiate the Community Care initiative at the start of the 2017-18 <br />Fiscal Year, the City requires funding of $160,000 in startup costs in the 2016-17 Fiscal Year. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That City Council does hereby approve an appropriation of $1,000,000 to fund the Community <br />Care initiative beginning in 2016-17 through the end of 2018-19 from the General Fund Economic <br />Uncertainty Reserve to the following accounts: <br />690-16-002-7510 <br />Purchase of Vehicles <br />$77,000 <br />687-18-007-5242 <br />Buildout of Office Space <br />$7,000 <br />010-21-001-5120 <br />Community Care Consulting <br />$10,000 <br />010-41-007-7401 <br />Vehicle Equipment <br />$3,000 <br />010-41-007-5120 <br />Software Setup/Configuration <br />$50,000 <br />010-41-007-6190 <br />Misc.
